Introduction

Northumbria Healers was set up in April 2012 to provide a centre for the provision of healing services to local communities in Northumberland and Tyneside.

The centre at Riding Mill in Northumberland offers you the opportunity to experience the relaxing benefits of energy healing in a welcoming and calming space.  Healing sessions are available on the last Saturday of every month and will complement any medical treatment or medication that you are taking, with a view to helping you to manage the impact of your illness.

The Centre is open to all and is based at the Parish Hall, Millfield Road, Riding Mill, NE44 6DJ from 2-4pm.  No appointment is necessary, just drop in, but please be aware that the last healing session is at 3.40pm.  The atmosphere is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Should you have to wait, you will be offered some light refreshment, until a healer is available for you.

Healing is offered free of charge, but to help towards the rent and running costs, donations are appreciated in order to keep the Centre open. A suggested donation is £5.00 but we are grateful to accept whatever you can afford .

On occasion we also use Newton and Bywell Community Hall at Newton, near Corbridge. For details of where and when the Healing Centre will be held, please click here.

The Healing Centre is easily reached by road or rail. For further details please click on the Google Maps icon below.

*This project is supported by the Awards for All Lottery Grant and by Northumberland County Council Community Chest Programme.

For dates of the Healing Centres, please see the Events page.

Training

The Northumbria School of Healing - Foundation Certificate in Energy Healing.

Anyone interested in joining the new cohort of student healers this Summer( 2023) in the North East, please get in touch via June Hewes (junelisle@icloud.com).

This will be Part 1 of four courses, to take place over the next two years, and will be a gentle introduction to help you build a healing practice based upon authenticity, spiritual resilience and a thorough grounding in the healing arts. Whether you wish to undertake this course merely for your own self-healing or for family/friends, or if you wish to build your own professional healing practice, this course is designed to cover all of those aspects, and no former experience is necessary.

“Every step taken in mindfulness brings us one step closer to healing ourselves and the planet.”
