Personal Information Privacy Notice
From May 2018, a new EU law (the General Data Protection Regulation) comes into force which strengthens the rights of individuals to know what data about them is collected, their personal information, and how it is used and managed. Northumbria Healers will only use your personal information to manage your treatments with us by holding, as may be appropriate:
- Your contact information, for example your name, address and telephone number to manage your appointments;
- Any health or personal history information relevant to managing your treatments and your comfort;
- Your treatments, for example date and time, the place, the nature of the treatment;
- Any other person to be notified in cases of emergency, for example your doctor or a relative or friend.
Your personal information is stored securely in a written-only form. Your information is not held in any computer-based system or on a web site. We do accept and hold your email correspondence. We may tell you of forthcoming Northumbria Healers events by email and include your comments on our treatments in our brochures or web page.
Your personal information will only be kept for as long as you are having treatments with us and then will be securely disposed of, subject to any other regulations which may apply.
Your personal information and conversations within Northumbria Healers are confidential and are not accessible to anyone else. We do not share your information with any other persons, companies or organisations. We will not disclose your information unless we are required to do so by law.
You can see your personal information and your treatment records and we encourage you to tell us of any changes to your details. You have the right to withdraw your consent to us holding any of your personal information, unless other restrictions apply, but this may affect the treatments we are able to offer you.
